Review: I don't know why, but we decided to go to the zoo on a Saturday at noon in June. It was HOT! It's a pretty long walk from the parking lot to the actual zoo entrance. You have to walk through zip-line area and watch people swing from trees. The zoo seemed a little small, but once we had seen it all we were definitely worn out. It was a nice zoo with a good variety of animals, even though a number of cages seemed to be missing animals. The best part were the animal demonstrations. A loudspeaker in the zoo announced different times and areas for different shows. We saw demonstrations for the kangaroos and emus, leopards, lemurs, and were lucky enough to see the snakes being fed (this only happens about once every two weeks). A zoo employee would stand in front of the animals and educate the crowd on each species, while the animals were usually being fed.

Overall: Fun, and worth it! We were able to spend a couple hours here and the animal demonstrations were great. Bring lots of water if you go when it's hot.
