Lake Eola Park and the Sunday Farmers' Market in Downtown Orlando

Lake Eola
Downtown Orlando Skyline and Fountain at Lake Eola

Cost: Free, or a loaf of bread if you want to feed the birds!

Review: Lake Eola is one of my very favorite places to go to in Orlando...
I go almost every week! From the City of Orlando's Website:

"Lake Eola Park is popular destination in the downtown area, with many people taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings to walk at lunch or the evenings. The sidewalk that circles the lake is .9 miles in length, making it easy for visitors to keep track of their walking or running distances. Other activities available to park visitors include renting swan-shaped paddle boats are $15 per ½ (half) hour, electric gondola boats are $15 per ½ (half) hour, Lake Eola will be adding electric swan boats in the future which will cost $15 per ½ (half) hour, feeding the live swans and other birds inhabiting the park, seeing a concert or a play in the Walt Disney Amphitheater, grabbing a bite to eat at Relax Grill on Lake Eola or relaxing amid beautiful flower beds and a spectacular view of Orlando's skyline."

Overall: Lake Eola is a great way to spend part of your day, whether you are relaxing, exercising, people-watching, or on a date. Come on Sundays from 10-4 for the Orlando Farmers' Market and see local merchants selling food, art, and fresh produce.
